Amanda Tizard

My breathwork sessions help guide you to come home to your body and to the beauty of life in a sacred space.   I provide an opportunity for you to expand, connect and heal. I can support you through the release of pain, trauma and limiting belief patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My sessions cultivate increased self-awareness and a centred way of being, to help you move forward in life, with more freedom, aliveness, wholeness and love.

For the last 17 years she has worked full time as a Bodyworker and Craniosacral Therapist.  Amanda is highly regarded within the wellbeing circles of London, Amsterdam and Ibiza. She has been featured in The Times, The Evening Standard, Get The Gloss and Conde Nast Traveller magazine, who described her as one of the top body fixers in the world.
Amanda was first introduced to Transformational Breath® at a workshop in London in 2009. In 2016 she embarked on a journey to become a Transformational Breath® Facilitator, studying under Indalecia Rohita (her mentor) first in Mallorca and then in France, Ireland and the UK. A year later she trained again in Italy, this time with Judith Kravitz and qualified as a Group Leader.
Amanda’s approach to breathwork is integrative and innovative. A lifelong student she has practiced, experienced and studied a wide range of wisdom healing traditions for over 30 years, she brings her expertise in many other complementary disciplines to the therapeutic space. She has delivered an impressive 10,000+ client sessions spanning a range of modalities including somatics, trauma-informed bodywork, yoga, yoga nidra, hypnotherapy, reiki, pulsing, advanced massage, meditation, wataflow and craniosacral therapy.
She specialises in trauma, anxiety, stress, overwhelm, burnout, PTSD, addiction, abandonment and attachment issues, heart protection, incubator trauma and birth trauma, autoimmune diseases, neck, back and shoulder tightness and restrictions. In her own life Conscious Breathwork played an integral and powerful part in Amanda’s healing journey, helping her to quit smoking and to permanently resolve an acute lower back complaint. It also helped her address birth trauma, co-dependency, and was one of the healing arts that Amanda used to overcome Ulcerative Colitis, which she enjoys total freedom from today.
She has a BSc in Zoology & Environmental Sciences and worked with people from all walks of life in former careers before becoming a full-time therapist. Amanda is gifted at creating a held space and providing support to facilitate your journey allowing you truly experience deep release and relaxation.
