Transformational Breath & Yoga Retreat in Somerset

FRIDAY 11th – SUNDAY 13th MAY 2018

42 acres is Somerset’s stunning wellness retreat for those seeking real transformation. “We work with the land and its abundance of natural resources and we use biomass and solar power to generate energy for the entire space. We have used reclaimed materials to both build and outfit the property, mixed with the influence, style and expertise of designer Jo Berryman.

The huge renovated farmhouse is just outside Frome and the sunny reception space is just the start of this wonderful wellness retreat experience. With the French doors leading out to view across the 42 acres of private land and 700 acres of the surrounding ancient forest, it’s perfect for strolls in between your sessions to reconnect with nature and enjoy some fresh air.

The main house has 8 bedrooms, ranging from cool nomadic style loft dorms, twin rooms, double rooms and a Grand Master suite with a walk in Dressing Room and Ensuite Bathroom with roll top bath and a rainforest shower.

All rooms have luxury linen, fluffy towels in the bathrooms with Boschendal Farm organic toiletries for your morning showers or evening baths.

Then there is Deer Cottage, just eleven steps from the main house which has 3 twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a dedicated massage room scattered with scented candles and low lighting.

The Yoga will be held by East of Eden’s Ann Pidcock and Breath sessions by Founder of The Breathing Room, Aimee Hartley and they will take place in the specially dedicated room for healing and transformation.

This beautiful Mongolian Yurt has a wooden floor with 4 doors which can be opened, pointing in East, West, North & South directions, which allows for fresh air to travel through for the ultimate breathing and yoga experience. In the evening, gorgeous cushions and throws are available so you will be warm and comfortable during all your sessions. We provide all the yoga mats for the breathing and yoga sessions but some guests like to bring their own mat and blankets which you are welcome to do.

Accommodation options range from Dormitories to Twins and Single rooms (en suite options available) with luxury linen and towels provided. The centre has several communal spaces including a library and a meeting and reading space.

Prices include accommodation for 2 nights, 3 days of retreat activities, and all delicious food and snacks. Travel to Somerset is not included.
